The lighting in this movie was so messed up. It was generally either in lovely but very desaturated daylight, or in a firelight interior, or at night. Annoying. :/ I upped the saturation of most of the icons to try to deal with this problem.

MUSIC YAY. I took this from heyjude.

Step 1: Put your iTunes or equivalent on random.

Everyone else's responses to this meme are awesome, so despite the fact that I might fail, I want to try! My internet keeps fizzing out because I'm just borrowing someone else's weak signal, but hey, that will leave me with no option but to mindlessly play backgammon write drabbles. SO. PROMPT ME, LOVIES.

I started watching Big Love the other day. I kind of like it, but it's also very weird to me. Anyway, I do quite like certain characters, such as Margene. So as a quick batch while I work on those other ones, I decided to icon Ginnifer, who imo is really adorable.

YEAH! TAKE THAT, COMPUTER! Except, uh, it feels like a cop-out on the computer's part. I wanted to actually do the winning. :( STILL! That's on the default level of difficulty, which is the hardest (in which the computer gets kind of shifty with its double rolls :|). I am very proud of myself. :>

I don't like Emma as Hermione overly much (well-styled blondish curls do not big bushy brown hair make... I hardly think the films have really tried since Sorcerer's Stone), but it kind of tickles me to see her used in any other context -- perhaps I just like the idea of defying that image. Also, she's actually a teenager, so you'd get bonus realism points.

All source images are from 2007, for age and style consistency. I hope she has decided to rethink her 2007 hairstyle, though. I like her a bit better with brown hair; I think the blonde occasionally washes her out a bit.

1. Michelle is REALLY PRETTY and I love her. I also, admittedly, love Georgina, and I found it rather disappointing that the secret she was lording over Serena was lame as hell.

Also, people complain about the lighting on Gossip Girl, but I tell you this: it is less annoying than the infuriating CW logo placement. I knew when I watched the finale on TV that the (big!) logo's awful location, i.e. NOT in the corner where it belongs, was going to be a big problem. Oh well. Anyway.

So... this was generally for my own enjoyment. I know not everyone is a big fan of models. BUT SHE'S SO CUTE AND PRETTY. She's the daughter of Isabella Rossellini and granddaughter of Ingrid Bergman, so no big surprise. Also, she's a model who isn't stick thin - I think her body is gorgeous. And I really like her freckles. :D

So, Skandar pings my gaydar something fierce. He watches Grey's Anatomy, Sex and the City, and Project Runway, people. Plus, there are a fair few photos of him being manhandled in some way or another by various male costars/other people involved in the Narnia films. It's weird. AND GAY. :D Oh Skandar.

Quality declines a little bit toward the end due to a) crappy small caps of interviews (mostly this) and b) lazy rushing because I don't like dealing with crappy small caps. I'm glad to be finished with this set.

Very pretty young Australian actress. IMO, she looks a bit like KStew from certain angles.

I present to you Dr. Allison "This is completely unethical!" Cameron. I used a couple of season 3 episodes (in which her hair is so much better than season 2, and I can't remember season 1), but because she can go for entire episodes without cracking a smile, I also added on some photoshoots/appearances icons at the end. I stuck mostly to the same time period in those, too, so she'd have roughly the same hairstyle throughout.

I don't adore her character on House, but she is still very, very pretty.

Most of these are sans glasses, but there are some at the end in which she has them. I wish she wore them more often! It's kind of cute. :D

Given that Lisa is in her early 40s, she is ridiculously fit. Scratch that: she's ridiculously fit anyway. I love her. She's fantastic as Dr. Cuddy on House, and I, uh, definitely watched this week's striptease scene more than once. >.>

Occasionally her hair/clothing is ridiculous, but that kind of makes me love her more, in a sad, "Oh, Lisa, what were you thinking?" kind of way. This is almost never on the show, though. When she's Cuddy, she's pretty much always fabulous.

ANYWAY. Sometimes the appearance photos were actually more annoying than dark House caps in this batch, which was an interesting reversal of the norm.

These are from the first third of Swing Kids, when he has long hair. I have seven or eight thousand more caps from the rest of the movie. I KNOW I'M OBSESSED. I DON'T CARE. RSL is one of my biggest Older Man crushes (neck and neck with Hugh Laurie), so I could basically stare at him all day. Especially when he's dancing around like a lunatic and having his hair flop around all over the place. He's adorable.

This movie came out in 1993, so during filming, Robert would likely have been around 23 years old. Of course, he plays a teenager, but I personally think his actual age is somewhat obvious.

Last night I put several hours into my music composition only to realise at the end that, although the melody and accompanying chords are pretty, it's not appropriate at all for the mood of the text. So now I need to start over. SIGH.

SO, I'm going to be scarce for the next few days, until my exams are over on Wednesday evening. I have a lot to work to do that I've procrastinated on, and I need to focus on studying instead of the internets. At least in the beginning, I will probably be vaguely around, but if things are not working well I might block IJ until it's all over. XD
